If, for any reason, you are unable to check your Gruhalakshmi Status through the DBT app, don’t worry! There is another way to check it that you might not be aware of – through the Mahiti Kanaja Portal, which is the official public information system of the Government of Karnataka.
Now, let’s see how you can Mahiti Kanaja Gruhalakshmi Status Check through the Mahiti Kanaja Portal using only your Ration Card number.
STEP 1 : Visit the official Mahiti Kanaja website (mahitikanaja.karnataka.gov.in) using the link provided below for Gruhalakshmi Status Check.
NOTE : Please note that there might be a some delay in updating the Gruhalakshmi status on the Mahiti Kanaja portal. For a quicker update, we recommend you to check the Gruhalakshmi status on the DBT mobile app.
STEP 2 : Click on the “Quick Services” button. If you have opened the Mahiti Kanaja website on a mobile phone, click on the three horizontal lines to view this button.
STEP 3 : Select the “Gruhalakshmi Application Status” option to check your Gruhalakshmi Payment Status.
Enter your RC or Ration Card Number and click on the “Submit” button.
STEP 4 : Now, a table with details such as the date you applied for the Gruhalakshmi application and its status will appear. Simply click on the “Details” button to view the transaction history of the Gruhalakshmi Scheme amount.

Gruhalakshmi Status Check In DBT App
The easiest and most accurate way to Track Gruhalakshmi Status is through the official DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mobile application built by the Government of Karnataka.
Now, we will show you the process to check the status using the DBT mobile app.
STEP 1 : If you are not using the DBT mobile application yet, please download the app through the Play Store or APP Store using the link provided below which is neccesary for Gruhalakshmi Status Check.
STEP 2 : Click on “New User,” enter your Aadhaar number, tick the declaration box, and then click on the “GET OTP” button.
Please note that the OTP (One-Time PIN) will be sent to the mobile number registered with your Aadhaar card. You cannot register for the DBT app using any other mobile number which are not linked to your Aadhaar card.
STEP 3 : Enter the OTP number received on your registered mobile number and click on the “VERIFY OTP” button.
STEP 4 : Now, create a 4-digit M-Pin or a security pin. This pin will be required when you want to log in to the DBT app next time. Click on the “Submit” button.
STEP 5 : A separate page will open for you to enter your personal information. Please enter the requested information such as your address and click on the “OK” button.
STEP 6 : Now, you will see the home page of the DBT app, as shown in the image below.
Select the “Payment Status” option.
STEP 7 : You will now see a list of all the schemes and benefits you are receiving from the government through Direct Benefit Transfer. Since we are checking the Gruhalakshmi Status, please select the “Gruhalakshmi” option.
STEP 8 : That’s it! Now, you will see the entire transaction history of the Gruhalakshmi scheme, including the amount transferred and the date it was transferred to your bank account.
Note : If the Gruhalakshmi scheme amount is not transferred for the present month when you check the Gruhalakshmi Status, please wait for a few days and check regularly. The amount will definitely get credited if your Gruhalakshmi scheme application has been approved, and your bank account is linked with your Aadhaar.
